A bit about Fatima

Dr Fatima, as she is known to all, lives in Tunbridge Wells and is married to a doctor. Her whole family have given her great support and encourage the pursuit of her many educational goals; her qualifications are prestigious by any measure. She obtained her GMC registration in 2013 after qualifying at Quaid-i-Azam University – Army Medical College in 1997. She has many certifications in general and aesthetic dermatology, and her studies and career have taken her to many places around the world including South Asia, the Middle East, Canada and the UK. Dr Fatima achieved academic distinction at Cardiff University, and she received the Chancellor’s International Scholarship award at the University of Hertfordshire. During her postgraduate studies, Dr Fatima’s research assignments included acne, eczema, psoriasis and precancerous lesions.

Why I like what I do

Skin is the most noticeable organ of the body and its problems create a deep psychological impact on individuals. Being a person of faith, I find great satisfaction in helping others. Aesthetic dermatology is a merger of art and science. By using cutting edge laser technology in this clinic I can improve skin problems with amazing aesthetic results. I always take a personalised approach and carefully consider the expectations of patients, offering a wide variety of treatments and procedures. It allows us to tailor and fine tune to their exact needs, in turn giving them self-esteem, confidence and ultimately, happiness. I believe in restoring the original beauty by subtle means. I want people to look great for their age without going too far. Erbium laser is one of my favourites, as painless removals of nevi, xanthelasma and many more lesions can be done without scaring the patient. CO2 laser works wonders when it is used for skin rejuvenation by resurfacing, acne or chicken pox scars. Many of my patients with a migraine feel great after the Botox injections as it improves the pain along with giving them a fresher look. There is a lot to offer which energises me with great zeal and passion to do more. I love spending time with my kids and cooking a wide variety of food, as I enjoy learning new dishes from all parts of the world.
